Surgery Group LA operates seven specialty sub-brand institutes. Each focuses the practice's expertise on a specific surgical area while sharing the same location, the same surgeons, and the same standards of care as the parent practice.
More than 36,000 surgeries across our surgeons' careers. Every surgeon on staff is board-certified and fellowship-trained. The team includes Fellows of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), Fellows of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (FASCRS), and diplomates of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM).
Our surgeons hold faculty and clinical professor appointments at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Several also hold appointments at the John Wayne Cancer Center, anchoring our practice in two of the country's leading medical institutions.
The Surgery Group LA Research Foundation — a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit directed by Dr. Nasseri — supports clinical research and education in colorectal surgery, surgical oncology, and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
