Dr. Gordon earned his medical degree from the Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago. He completed his surgical residency at the Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, and completed a fellowship in surgery at the Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation.
Dr. Gordon has lectured on surgical topics across America. He is an attending surgeon at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he has served as associate director of surgical education. Dr. Gordon has received the Medical Chief of Staff Award and the Golden Apple Award for excellence in clinical teaching.
Dr. Gordon is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a re-certified diplomat of the American Board of Surgery. He participates in the American Board of Surgery’s Maintenance of Certification program.
